Cookies and localStorage are different
Cookies are small values a browser can send with requests to a website. localStorage keeps values in a browser for a particular site and does not automatically attach them to requests. Both are forms of device storage that should be explained clearly.
The supplied website code does not set cookies. It can save one localStorage value after you use the controls below. Hosting or security infrastructure may handle technical request information separately; see Your Data Choices for the broader privacy explanation.

Both options leave optional tracking inactive. Accept records your preference; Essential Only records that you do not want optional storage. Neither button enables analytics or advertising. These controls do not authorize future tracking without a fresh explanation and any consent required by law.

Change or remove a preference
You can replace the saved choice using either control above. To remove it entirely, open your browser’s settings for this site and clear site data or local storage. This affects the current browser profile; another browser or device has its own storage. Private browsing may discard the preference when that browsing session ends.
If storage is blocked, the site remains readable and the controls report that the choice could not be saved. Clearing a preference does not activate tracking. The contact message text is not stored in the preference value.
Clipboard and downloaded text
On the contact page, Copy text requests clipboard access only when you select it. Download .txt creates a local file only when requested. These are not cookies. Your operating system, browser settings or device synchronization may retain clipboard contents and files; manage those through your device.
